Thanks for Generous Donation
Dear Editor:
I would like to let the residents of Columbia County know what a good neighbor we have in our midst.
Puget Sound Energy (Hopkins Ridge Wind Facility), through their foundation, has awarded a grant of $5,000 to the Columbia County Senior Citizens' Meals on Wheels Program.
This money will be used in Columbia County for the Meals on Wheels Program and the meals served at the Senior Center.
This money was awarded on the 2nd day of July. The seniors in attendance were thrilled and amazed at the generosity of this organization.
A simple "thank you" is never enough. Many thanks go to Anne Walsh for all her help in obtaining this grant.
